Shield takes that on. We select and manage accredited vendors, consolidate the billing, and maintain the documentation, so the practice owner knows the practice is covered and can prove it.
Shield owns no trucks and no laboratories. We are the compliance layer on top of partners who do that work well.

Annual OSHA and HIPAA training for clinical and front-office staff, delivered online with tracked completion and certificates archived per employee.
Sterilizer spore testing
Weekly biological indicator tests for autoclaves, processed by an accredited laboratory, with results and the full testing log kept on file.
Radiation dosimetry
Personal radiation badges for staff who work around X-ray and fluoroscopy equipment, with NVLAP-accredited dose reports and badge exchanges handled on schedule.
Medical waste mail-back
Prepaid sharps and regulated medical waste containers returned by mail for compliant treatment, with manifests and certificates of destruction retained for your records.
